tumblrbot asked: WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?

Summertime, hot in a crib, having my hands in mittens to keep my hands away from my face. Geeesh!

azulazulete asked: me encantan tus dibujos. Enhorabuena Sorry I dont speak english ; ) I'm Español. From Madrid. Were are you from?

I am from the US. Yo no habla espanol bien, pero yo entiendo un poco. I am in Europe many months of the year, so I have learned some other languages and I paint while I travel.

I like your work.

Sharing my work process on the iPad and using Paper53

I paint from the scenes and objects that I see around me. I do use photos as a reference. I sometimes now use the photos on my iPhone as a visual reference while I am working. I am on the road much of the time and not in my studio. Paper53 has the advantage for me of being totally portable. Working on the plane or a high speed train is no muss, no fuss.

First, I make sure that the battery is removed from my Pogo Connect. Next, I usually block in color washes with my Nomad Brush, which gives me lovely layers of color. I experiment. I check my values and composition and then save to my photo roll and close my sketchbook. This step is important because nothing will be erased when the sketchbook is reopened to be used with the now battery powered Pogo Connect. I repeat this process as necessary while working.

I do love ink line drawings and find advantages in working with both Pogo and Nomad.

I think you do very well with your paintings and that you have a great deal of control of the application. Thanks for liking my work. It means a lot to me also.
